Senior Living Employee Portal Development

The Challenge

A very large senior living organization with communities throughout the United States and China needed a comprehensive web-based software solution to support their employees. They required a learning center, policy tracking capabilities, standards setting and tracking, a company vision portal, and an employee portal - all with localization support for both English and Chinese.

The Solution

We built a comprehensive employee portal that includes: a learning center for online/self-paced and instructor-led classes with progress tracking and compliance capabilities; policy tracking for one-time and recurring acknowledgments with reminders and alerts; standards setting and tracking that reduced a months-long manual process to weeks; a company vision portal for centralized content creation and publishing; and an employee portal enabling interaction, idea sharing, surveys, project tracking, and virtual badges for recognition. The solution was built using C#.NET, Entity Framework, AngularJS, Twilio for text messaging, and Microsoft MVC.
